The 19th portrait in the "Judo Greats" series by Dr Andor Paposi-Yobb was unveiled
in Budapest Hungary at the European Masters on May 20th,  2010

 

Serbian Master Vuk Rasovic recently won the world veteran championship in Stuttgart, Germany  in the category over 100 kg and won this title for the seventh time. This year he is celebrating his 50th anniversary of Judo competition, which ranks him among world record holders. For many years, he has been the president of the Judo Association of Yugoslavia, an international judge and a coach of top Serbian and Yugoslav Judo competitors.

About the Artist:

Dr. Andor Paposi-Yobb is the instructor at the Hun Judo Dojo in clarion, PA.

Andor also competed in Atlanta at the World MasterAthlete Judo Tournament and found that he was the unchallenged Gold Medal Winner in his division. He was challenged to exhibition matches by two other champions, both 8th Degree Blackbelts from Tokyo's Kodokan, and he won both matches. They were tough competitors; but Andor just grappled away and persevered.
